Planning a wedding is not typically an inexpensive venture. At the same time, many couples still want to enjoy their engagement period and have date nights. Here are a few suggestions for low budget date ideas for while you are planning your wedding.
- Roller Skating: Go back to your childhood and go to a skating rink. Try to pick a time when there will not be tons of kids running around and have fun!
- House “window” Shopping: On a nice Sunday afternoon, put on a cute outfit and go to a few open houses. Enjoy asking the realtor questions that you may eventually ask when you are house hunting as a married couple.
- Drive- In Movies: Do you want to see a movie without breaking the bank or tickets, drinks, and snacks? Head over to your nearest drive in movie! Bring your own food and drinks and cuddle up and enjoy the show!
- Take a class: Many people enjoy completing a physical activity together. Have some fun and head over to your neighborhood Home Depot, Lowes, or other home improvement store and take a class together. You can put your finished project in your new home together!
- Cook Together: Challenge each other to a cook off, teach each other how to prepare your favorite meals, or find a new recipe to make together.
